BoV announces the exhibition dates of “East + West” and its new partnership…

As previously noted, the team that brought you Tilford Art Group for ten years (2003-2013), has relaunched as Band of Vices (BoV) and is set to present its new exhibition opening on the 15th of May, 2015.

East + West: Studies on Paper by Francks Deceus & New Works by Greg Breda, reunites the gallery with two of its most-notable Artists, representing the east & west coasts, respectively. Deceus has pulled from his archives works based on his early “Everyday People” series, documenting among many themes, his commentary on the gentrification which swept through Brooklyn in the early part of this 21st century. On the other hand, Breda has spent these past few years delving deeper into the root of identity with a continuation of his “SEED” series. Both artists works in this show represent their strength and tenacity, as well as a vulnerable, meditative dialogue.

Coupled with all of this renewed-ness, Band of Vices is pleased to announce its partnership with the atelier community’s highly-regarded and rapidly growing Eighth & Grand. Chief Curator Terrell Tilford will not only curate the BoV art shows in this downtown Los Angeles (#DTLA), thirteenth-floor loft space, but offer a bevy of lifestyle events, bridging the gap between the artist, the collector and people who crave “all things good”. Appropriately, the gallery will be located at the intersection of 8th Street & Grand Avenue.

A further email will go out in about two weeks with all the detailed information of the gallery, our Opening Reception hours, as well as a request for You to RSVP for this truly exciting, new venture of ours!

From all of Us that were TAG and now BoV, we sincerely thank you for continuing this journey with us and cannot wait to see you again!
