Bryan Lee Tilfords’ Art and Creativity is influenced by Music, Artist and Black History. As an Engineering Designer and Musician, (Former touring and recording Bassist with the Papa John Creach Band), musical themes are second nature. It could be Rock Icons or Jazz legends that fuels and drives the inspiration for a new piece or series. Also included, in a broader context of inspiration, is the forgotten lives of many Black Americans that have worked, struggled and persisted in the face of monumental opposition to their very existence. These Black Americans have left an imprint on American Society too inspiring to forget. The colorful and interesting lives of these individuals provide a never ending flow of ideas and concepts for new work. My intent and goal is to remind and inspire all that view my work of the numerous and continuous contributions that African Americans have made to the fabric of our Society, and to a greater extent the world.
