RICHARD MENSAH - a solo exhibition

LOS ANGELES - Band of Vices is honored to present TANGLED EMBRACE, an exhibition of new paintings by London-based artist Richard Mensah. The exhibition will open with a public reception on the 11th of November and will feature 7 intimate works of precision and vulnerability. This marks Mensah’s solo exhibition debut with the Gallery, on view 11 November - 23 December, 2023.

Originally from Ghana, Mensah weaves together a visual storybook of requited love and those yearning for intimacy. While the threats of the outside world distract these lovers of their full expression, they are threading their own journey to hold on as tightly as they can to one another.
